Don O'Mara - CEO

Rockhampton born and bred, started as O’Mara’s Autocare in 1991 doing all vehicle repairs. Then in 1993, decided to concentrate on constant velocity joint and shaft rebuilding, to be the most experienced specialist technician in Central Queensland.

In 1998 expanded into steering & suspension parts and repairs. Changing the business to O’Mara’s C.V. Joints & Suspension. With the help of Michael Bergin, O’Mara’s C.V. Joints & Suspension is one of Central Queensland’s leading suppliers and technical advisers on suspension, steering and constant velocity solutions with a fully equipped workshop.

Michael Bergin - Chief Mechanic

Rockhampton lad, country boy, lives on 5 acres near The Caves with his wife and five children. Loves the outdoors, goes fishing on the Capricorn Coast in his 14’ tinny and camping in his Castaway Camper. Loves a ride on his motorcycle on a good day.

Has worked at O’Mara’s C.V. Joints & Suspension since 1998. A qualified mechanic with at least 13 years experience in constant velocity joints and shafts, suspension, steering & brakes.

Matt Ahern - Spare Parts Guru/Qualified Mechanic

Rockhampton lad, went to Rockhampton High, came to us at O'Mara's C.V. Joints & Suspension as a Grade 12 work experience student in 2005. Lives in town. We were so impressed we kept him on and put him through an apprenticeship, now a qualified tradesman and an important member of the team.

Loves his Torana, doing a full rebuild on an LX Torana with a 308 V8 motor turbo 350 automatic. When Matt is not tinkering he is fishing in his 14’ fiberglass runabout, trying to catch the big ones.
